Job Description

Job Overview:

operations of our warehouse park. You will oversee daily activities, maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, and ensure compliance with company policies. Your role is essential in supporting administrative functions, supervising staff, and managing maintenance activities to uphold the integrity of our facilities.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Supervision:

1. Control access to the warehouse, ensuring only authorized clients, their employees, transporters, and

visitors are allowed entry.

2. Prevent unauthorized access.

3. Supervise security and housekeeping teams during all shifts, including night shifts.

4. Manage vehicle operations within and around the warehouse:

1. Restrict access to one vehicle per client unless additional permissions are granted.

2. Ensure safety protocols to prevent accidents.

3. Ensure godown keepers are monitoring the movement of clients, their employees, service

providers, and transporters.

5. Record vehicle movements in and out of the warehouse in the register, maintaining accurate records

in English.

6. Oversee parking management for client vehicles and bikes in designated areas.

7. Calculation of overtime of the Clients on a weekly basis.


2. Client and Vendor Relations

1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of client units (galas), including their staff, customers, and

service providers.

2. Supervise multiple vendors responsible for:

1. Electrical work

2. CCTV maintenance

3. Civil, plumbing, and fabrication tasks

4. Pest control and drainage line cleaning

5. Roof waterproofing and electrical appliance maintenance

6. Daily cleaning of office, customer washrooms, common areas, and warehouse as needed.


3. Property Maintenance:

1. Conduct inspections, especially during monsoon season, and report findings to senior management.

2. Train staff on the use of various fire extinguishers and ensure timely renewal of all fire extinguishers.

3. Regularly inspect warehouse properties to identify and report maintenance needs.

4. Ensure that all the company properties are clean and presentable for client visits.

5. Oversee maintenance services for office equipment and electric appliances according to AMC

schedules.


4. Asset Management:

1. Maintain and supervise the company asset inventory, ensuring proper labelling and organization

according to company guidelines.

2. Coordinate access and security of warehouse keys, especially during client visits.

5. Staff Supervision:

1. Manage housekeeping and security staff schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.

2. Supervise the relocation of company cargo within the warehouse premises.

3. Ensure staff adhere to break schedules, including timely lunch breaks.


6. Emergency and Special Tasks:

1. Handle emergencies in the absence of senior management.

2. Undertake special projects and tasks as and when assigned by senior management.


7. Administrative Duties:

1. Assist in the sale of company scrap materials.

2. Liaise with local authorities (MTNL, BEST, BMC, Police, BPT) for submitting complaints.

3. Procure by going and purchasing housekeeping, pantry and any other materials for any type of

repairs from nearby stores.

4. Reporting on Sun for work in event of some emergency, ongoing project or to solve some issue,

surprise check or as informed by Senior Management.
