The Job holder will be responsible for SM & HM format expansion in the circle involving
sourcing of new properties, NSO, rent reduction, rent re-negotiation, store size reduction,
space release to LL/SIS, lease extension and EB power enhancement for stores, LL
relationship, property tax rebate and capex reduction.
The role requires the job holder to understand the catchments targeted by OPS for
identifying properties for SM, which will meet our business norms.
1. Short list properties in correct locations within the catchments
2. Understand the commercials suitable for SM business before shortlisting properties
3. Understand the structural requirement before shortlisting properties
4. Planning the amenities and space with the right density of merchandise, best suited
for that catchment, along with controlling future opex.
5. Renegotiate existing store rent and area reduction with LLs
