ABOUT ROLE:

This is a full-time, on-site, temporary, research staff in an ICMR funded project, titled "Effectiveness of Yoga based Cardiac Rehabilitation (Yoga CaRe) in Heart Failure: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial" and National Pregnancy and Cardiac diseases (NPAC) of India Study at the office located in the Cardiovascular research unit, Institute of Cardiology,RGGGH, Madras Medical College, Chennai. The project technical support III will be responsible for conducting research, collecting and analysing data, preparing research reports, etc. The project technical support III will also be expected to

1. Coordinate with the principal investigator and the research staff of the Central co-ordinating team.

2. Maintain all required records (online and offline) related to the study.

3. Assist the PI in Enrolling and organising follow up visits of the participants.

4. Entering data into the Database provided.

5. In addition to the above, any other job pertaining to the study as informed periodically by the Pricipal investigator

Essential Qualification:

• Post Graduate in public health/ social science/ life sciences/ health care management or related field from a recognized institution / university
• Under Graduate in social science/ life sciences/ health care management or related field from a recognized institution / university with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the concerned field
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and type fast in English.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Post graduate degree in life sciences with 3 year research experience

2. Experience in Field investigation, Data collection, data analysis, data monitoring etc will be preferred.

3. Knowledge on health systems, Experience of conducting household/facility based surveys.

4. Knowledge of Computer Applications, Data Management and statistical analysis will be

given preference.

5. Good analytical, negotiation, communication (oral and written) skills (Tamil and English).

Age limit : 35 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹36,400.00 per month

• Park Town, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
