Senior project assistant This is a full-time, on-site, temporary, research staff in an ICMR funded project, titled “Senior project assistant” at the office located in the Cardiovascular research unit, Institute of Cardiology, Madras Medical College, Chennai. The Senior project assistant will be responsible Assist the principal investigator in ensuring smooth conduct of the research study across the country. In addition they will assist the PI in day to day administrative and financial management of the project. Coordinate with the principal investigators and the research staff of the participating sites across the country to ensure training and appropriate data entry. Monitor and supervise the data uploaded by the other sites and ensure that study protocol is followed in the participating sites. Maintain all required records (online and offline) related to the study. Coordinate with the appointed auditor in terms of organising utilisation certificate and statement of accounts appropriately. Coordinate with the principal investigators and the research staff of the participating sites across the country, ensuring collection of utilisation certificates and receipts / bills / vouchers / in-voice as applicable from the participating sites. Provides project status updates at predetermined time intervals Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities. JOB QUALIFICATION: Postgraduate in public health/ social science/ life sciences/ health care management or related field from a recognized institution / university with at least 2 years of relevant experience (or) Graduate in any discipline with 2 years’ work experience in administrative or finance and accounts work along with, Mandatory criteria Ability to communicate, read, write and type in English. The project technical support III will be responsible for conducting research, collecting and analysing data, preparing research reports, etc. The project technical support III will also be expected to 1. Coordinate with the principal investigator and the research staff of the Central co-ordinating team. 2. Maintain all required records (online and offline) related to the study. 3. Assist the PI in Enrolling and organising follow up visits of the participants. 4. Entering data into the Database provided. 5.
