Project Quality Engineer (Civil)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Vizag for a Project Quality Engineer (Civil). The Project Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of quality standards in civil engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections, reviewing project specifications, coordinating with project teams to resolve quality issues, and preparing detailed quality reports. The engineer will also be involved in audit preparation and compliance checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and practices
• 8 to 14 years of Experience in Civil Quality Management Systems and Standards
• Skills in conducting site inspections and audits, and preparing detailed reports
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work on-site
• Relevant certifications in quality management or assurance are a plus
• Experience with project management and construction software tools

Responsibilities :

- Strong Civil FQ experience

- Approving vendor ITP with respect to project requirement

- Civil Casting knowledge

- Raw Material Inspection experience

- Knowledge in Testing: Cube Test, Sump Test, etc.

- Knowledge of Mix Design & Batching Plant.

- Documentation knowledge for Site protocols, checklists, etc.

- Review of all inspection related documents.

- Coordinate with site execution team to solve onsite issues.
