Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

They are responsible for defining /creating project schedules, communication plans and execution of projects, identifying resource constraints and working with management for issue resolution.
The Project Manager will direct cross-functional project team members and is fully accountable to the Project Approval Committee (PAC) for his / her projects.
He/she will lead the projects to a successful conclusion & meet the targets set in terms of Design Requirements, Opex, Capex and Timeline. The role will provide leadership over New Product Development and Life Cycle Engineering projects.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

University Degree: Bachelor of engineering - Mech/Automobile/Industrial Engineering/Tool design.
Demonstrated experience in Engineering assignments, eg. automotive components, mechatronics.
Minimum of 3-4 years professional experience in Project Management, Overall experience 5-7 years
Project Management Institute (PMI) certification desirable (CAPM or PMP).
Fluency in Japanese or German language is preferred.
Solid understanding of industry standard development methodology and the ability to deploy in NPD projects.
Strong and thorough knowledge of technical tools specific to Project Management (MS Project) Planisware as well as knowledge on general engineering tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Culturally sensitive.
Strong ability to set goals and motivate team members.
Ability to drive projects with external organizations and customers.
Capable to run multiple projects at the same time.
