Project Manager (Steel Structures-PEB)

Job Title: Project Manager – Steel Structures / PEB

Location: In and around Tamil Nadu

Department: Projects / Operations

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Purpose

To lead, plan, execute, and deliver steel structure/PEB projects within budget, on time, and to required quality standards, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, consultants, site teams, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements for clarity and feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety, and quality norms.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the single point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients for progress updates, approvals, and issue resolution.

Site & Team Management

• Supervise project execution on-site through site engineers and contractors.
• Monitor daily site progress, manpower, materials, and machinery deployment.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and project quality standards.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
• Control material consumption, subcontractor billing, and cost variations.
• Approve and certify subcontractor/ vendor invoices.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate between design, procurement,logistics, and erection teams.
• Provide weekly/monthly project status reports to the management.
• Identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks; take corrective actions proactively.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 8–20 years of experience in steel structures / PEB industry.
• Proven track record in handling medium to large-scale PEB projects from concept to completion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
