Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Overall Plant Management: Oversee all daily operations of the power plant, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely to achieve production targets.
• Operational Efficiency: Optimize boiler efficiency and overall thermal efficiency, managing fuel consumption and achieving targeted steam generation costs.
• Maintenance & Reliability: Plan, execute, and oversee all maintenance activities (routine, preventive, and corrective) for the boiler, turbine, generator, and all auxiliary systems (fans, pumps, ash handling, water treatment, etc.) to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Fuel Management: Manage the fuel handling system, including fuel blend management (especially for multi-fuel/biomass CFBC boilers that can use a wide range of fuels like coal, lignite, rice husk, etc.), to optimize performance and cost.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all safety, health, environmental, and statutory regulations (such as the Indian Boiler Regulations - IBR).
• Troubleshooting & Emergency Handling: Possess the ability to take quick and effective action during emergencies and troubleshoot complex operational issues, including handling boiler trips and start-up/shutdown procedures.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a team of engineers, operators, and maintenance staff, fostering a strong process discipline and high-performance culture.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze plant data and parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates), maintain detailed records/logs, and implement continuous improvement projects (e.g., energy conservation, cost saving initiatives).
• Inventory and Budget Management: Manage material inventory (fuel, chemicals, spare parts) and monitor the production cost, ensuring operations stay within budget.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹2,400,000.00 per year
