Roles & responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute the product strategy in alignment with the company's vision and goals. Define product roadmaps and drive product innovation to meet market needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including software development teams, business analysts, and sales/marketing teams, to gather requirements and ensure successful product launches.
  • Requirements Analysis: Utilize strong business analysis skills to gather and document detailed product requirements. Ensure clear communication of requirements to development teams.
  • Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
  • Product Performance: Monitor product performance post-launch and implement necessary improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to product teams. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
  • Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile principles to product development processes, fostering adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Risk Management: Assess potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including human, financial, and technical, to optimize productivity and achieve project goals.
  • Conflict Resolution: Demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills, promoting a positive and cohesive team atmosphere.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in product / project management, preferably in the insurance or Insurtech industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products, with a focus on insurance technology solutions.
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and innovative mindset.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to the US for short visits
  • PMP Certified
