Project Manager (Design)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Design Manager to lead and guide our design team in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling projects related to Chemical, FMCG, Food, Pharma, and allied industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a design team in concept and detail engineering, ensuring the timely completion of all deliverables.
• Oversee the preparation of tender documents, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Supervise and guide the development of Plant Layouts, P&IDs, Equipment specifications, utilities design, and piping layouts.
• Coordinate with the project team and stakeholders to ensure accurate equipment, utilities, pipe sizing, isometrics, and MTO preparation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the design team, ensuring that all designs align with client requirements.
• Utilize engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Plant3D, Revit and others as need be to develop design deliverables.
• Review design work for compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve any design-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in handling EPC projects in the Chemical, FMCG, Food, and Pharma industries.
• Strong knowledge of Plant Layout, P&ID, Equipment, Utilities, Pipe Sizing, Piping Layout, and Isometrics.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Plant3D, and Revit for the preparation of engineering designs.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a design team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
