Project Manager (Civil) Maldives

Key Responsibilities

Job Location

Maldives – Resort Construction Project

• Project Planning & Execution

Lead end-to-end resort construction projects from concept to handover.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.

Ensure compliance with Maldives tourism and environmental regulations.

• Quality & Safety

Implement international construction standards and sustainable practices.

Oversee site safety, risk management, and quality assurance.

• Financial Oversight

Manage project budgets exceeding multi-million USD.

Monitor cost control, procurement, and vendor negotiations.

• Team Leadership

Supervise multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, and site staff.

Mentor junior project managers and ensure high team performance.

• Reporting

Provide regular progress updates to senior management and investors.

Prepare detailed reports on milestones, risks, and corrective actions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

Minimum 15+ years in large-scale construction projects, with at least 5 years in hospitality/resort development.

Skills

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project).

Industry Knowledge

Familiarity with Maldives resort construction standards, tourism regulations, and environmental impact assessments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
