Civil Project Engineer

As a Civil Project Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the successful execution of our civil infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with site teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination:

  Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

• Technical Design & Review:

  Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Provide technical input and support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Site Supervision & Quality Control:

  Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and maintain quality control standards. Identify and resolve any on-site issues promptly.

• Material & Resource Management:

  Assist in the procurement and management of materials, equipment, and labour resources for projects.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress updates, and documentation of changes. Prepare regular reports for project managers.

• Safety & Compliance:

  Ensure all project activities comply with relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.

• Stakeholder Communication:

  Effectively communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in

  Civil Engineering

  or

  Diploma in Civil

  from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of

  2 years of hands-on experience

  in civil engineering projects, preferably within the infrastructure or industrial construction sector.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management fundamentals.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, MS Office Suite).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus.
