Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of the Central Control Capabilities function, responsible for driving Monitoring & Testing (M&T) of key controls across the business. The Central Testing function is primarily based out of Citi Service Centers in India and is structured along three verticals: M&T Execution, M&T Automation, and Strategy & Governance. Key Responsibilities: - Manage governance structures for the Central Testing function, including developing management reports for various stakeholders. - Support in collating relevant updates for Monthly Business Reviews, Risk & Control governance committees, and other forums. - Track relevant KPIs/KRIs for teams within the Central Testing function and partner with them to improve adherence to established metrics. - Ensure Quality Control metrics are utilized to monitor individual staff performance and overall function. - Identify opportunities for streamlining and/or automating operational processes. - Maintain robust expense management discipline, coordinate budget processes, and provide regular progress reports. - Work with SGA Director for capacity planning and management process for staff in the Central Testing function. - Facilitate issue management discipline for issues, CAPs, and milestones owned by the Central Testing function. - Track training completions for all staff and assess opportunities for external certification within a talent development program. Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of experience leading strategy, governance, transformation, or relevant roles in financial services. - In-depth knowledge of operational & compliance risk management framework and experience in control design/assessment. - Strong analytical skills, ability to ask insightful questions, break down challenges, and draw meaningful conclusions. - Understanding of Citis businesses, products, and risk profiles across multiple geographies. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for influencing senior management decisions. - Ability to challenge conventions, make risk remediation recommendations, and identify trends from high volume information sources. - Skilled at building partnerships across functions and regions, collaborating well with others in global teams. - Ability to lead coordination of day-to-day activities, manage critical path, and assess risks in business decisions. - Bachelor's/University degree required; Master's degree preferred.
