Project Management Consultant

Role Overview: Outsized, a high-growth and well-funded disruptor in the talent economy, is seeking a consultant to support a Capital Program Management project for a major real-estate company in India. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, managing the Project Management Office (PMO) tasks, and working with the consulting team to ensure timely project delivery. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for structural changes, mitigating risks, resolving on-site challenges, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet project milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the Project Manager, overseeing construction activities and critical PMO tasks - Work with the consulting team to ensure timely project delivery - Identify opportunities for structural changes in construction practices, technologies, and ways of working - Identify and report potential risks and delays, initiating mitigation strategies - Resolve key challenges on-site in collaboration with site teams - Ensure project milestones are met according to the established schedule - Coordinate across various functions, including the Project Team, Project Management Consultant (PMC), and Design Team - Establish a governance framework, conduct reviews, monitor key metrics, and prepare comprehensive reports Qualifications Required: - 5 to 10 years of experience in managing large capital expenditure projects in the real estate industry, preferably residential projects - Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering; a postgraduate degree from a top-tier university is preferred - Proven experience in project management, specifically in the real estate sector - Strong understanding of construction practices, technologies, and project management methodologies - Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills - Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and teams - Strong communication and reporting skills (Note: No additional details about the company were included in the job description),
