Rowghat Iron Ore Mines, Narayanpur and Kanker, Chhattisgarh

KCC has been awarded with a MDO (Mine Developer & Operator) contract for Production and dispatch of 14 MTPA Iron Ore at Rowghat Iron Ore Mines of Steel Authority of India Ltd., located in the state of Chhatisgarh. The MDO contract is for a total period of 28 year, including a construction period of 3 years. KCC is required to do mining of Iron Ore (ROM) & Installation and Operation of:

• Two stage crushing & screening (Primary & Secondary) at hilltop.
• A downhill closed belt conveying system to transport crushed ore from hilltop to intermediate ore stockpile at foothill complex.
• Reclamation of ore from the intermediate stockpile & conveying to tertiary crushing & screening plant.
• Tertiary crushing & screening plant to produce lump & fines.
• Separate product stockpiles for lump & fines.
• Suitable loading plant along with Rapid Loading System (RLS) for loading the product into Railway Wagons.
• Other ancillary activities required for the project.

Job Title - Project In Charge

KCC is looking for appointing a suitable qualified & experienced engineer to head this project. He will be responsible for the entire project at Rowghat and report to the CMD/ Board of Directors of the Company.

Job Specification

• Minimum Qualification

  - B.Tech in Mechanical, Mining, Civil, or Electrical Engineering from a reputed Institute.

• Experience

  - 15 to 20 years of experience in installation, commissioning and operation of similar project in any major mineral.

• Age

  - No limit for deserving candidate.
