Job Description

Job Title: Project Engineering Sales

Position Overview:

The incumbent will be responsible for driving business development and order intake for engineered water and wastewater treatment systems including WTP, DM, ETP, STP, RO, ZLD, and related technologies catering to heavy and emerging industries such as Refineries, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Fertilizers, Power, Metals & Mining, and Semiconductors.

Qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering MBA or Post-Graduate qualification in Marketing / Business Development preferred

Experience:

  • 1015 years of proven experience in techno-commercial / project sales of water and wastewater treatment solutions.
  • Strong understanding of tendering, RFQs, and specification management.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and contract finalization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple pursuits and align with cross-functional teams.
  • Sound knowledge of industry procurement cycles and regulatory norms.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales forecasting tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a consultative mindset.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve order booking targets.
  • Track upcoming projects, tenders, and client requirements in target sectors.
  • Lead client and consultant engagement with a consultative, solution-oriented approach.
  • Drive prequalification and specification management with marketing and technical teams.
  • Coordinate with Bids & Proposals, Engineering, Design, and Estimation teams for proposal submissions.
  • Conduct Bid / No-Bid evaluations, pricing reviews, and techno-commercial negotiations.
  • Manage CRM pipeline, forecasting, and market intelligence activities.
  • Support marketing, promotional, and pursuit planning initiatives to improve win ratios.
  • Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and industrial clients.
