Job description for Project Engineer Job Title: Project Engineer – Solar Energy Location: Hyderabad (Base Location, with extensive travel across project sites) Experience Required: 3–4 years minimum in Solar Energy About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our Solar Energy division. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-ground project execution, ensuring proper alignment, quality standards, and successful installation of solar projects. This role requires extensive travel to project sites and hands-on monitoring of end-to-end execution. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site inspections to check alignments, foundations, and structural accuracy before and during installation. Supervise and monitor project execution from start to completion, ensuring timely progress. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and on-site teams for smooth workflow. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards at all stages of installation. Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues efficiently. Prepare progress reports and update project managers on timelines, risks, and requirements. Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of solar projects. Travel extensively to project sites as per company requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering (or related field). Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in solar project execution and installation. Strong knowledge of solar plant construction, alignment checks, and installation procedures. Willingness to travel extensively across different locations. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to handle site challenges independently and deliver under deadlines.
