Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Mechanical) to coordinate and manage project execution activities across India. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical background, hands-on site experience, and proven project management capabilities.

You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and delivering mechanical installation projects on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-installation site visits to assess readiness and identify potential issues.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers to ensure on-site compliance with project requirements.
• Review and validate BOQ and technical drawings in line with project scope.
• Plan and manage installation schedules, ensuring timely completion and efficient resource utilization.
• Collaborate with procurement and installation teams for material and manpower readiness.
• Track project progress, risks, and deviations; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety norms, quality standards, and engineering best practices.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain project transparency.
• Prepare regular project reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Education: B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in project execution (preferably in turnkey piping or mechanical projects).
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end project execution and team coordination.
• Experience in labour management, resource planning, and workforce allocation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of contracts, BOQs, and execution drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office and project documentation tools.
• Knowledge of industry safety and compliance standards.
