Project Engineer – Electrical (Substation & Transmission Line Projects)

Roles & Responsibilities:-

He will have to live on site and supervise erection, installation, and commissioning works of substations up to 220KV. He will check overall site progress, conduct inspections, and review daily work done by workers. He will regularly monitor inventory, place orders, and plan material requirements in advance. He will ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition and safety standards are strictly followed. He will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of work.

Key Result Areas:

Internal:

Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities for substation building, erection, installation, and commissioning up to 220KV.

Stay at project site and oversee overall site progress.Conduct regular site inspections and review daily work done by workers.Maintain and monitor inventory, place material orders, and ensure timely availability.

Plan advance material requirements and ensure all equipment/tools are in good working condition.

Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and compliance with quality norms.Draft mails, progress reports, and documentation related to the project.

Ensure timely execution of project activities within defined deadlines.

External:

Coordinate with clients, labor contractors, and liaison officers

Communicate with government officers through calls, mails, and official letters.

Coordinate with villagers and other stakeholders as needed.

Educational Qualification: B.E. (Electrical) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Required Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical equipment, erection & commissioning.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong monitoring and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Accurate time management and safety compliance.

Work Experience:

2–3 years of relevant experience in substation erection, commissioning, and installation (up to 220KV) in EPC industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
