Project Associate-Agriculture Economics

Job Title: Project Associate – Agri Economics (Climate & Carbon Credit / Organic Certification)

Location: Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra

Experience: 0–1 Year

Education Qualification: M.Sc. (Agri. Economics) / M.Tech (Agricultural Economics)

Gender Preference: Male candidate preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of agriculture and climate-related projects at the field level.
• Support data collection, documentation, and analysis related to carbon credit assessment and organic certification.
• Coordinate with farmers, FPOs, and field teams for smooth project execution.
• Participate in training programs on organic inspection and certification standards (as per FSC or relevant certification schemes).
• Maintain project reports, field records, and assist in the preparation of monitoring and evaluation documents.
• Support the development of sustainable agricultural practices and climate-smart interventions.
• Liaise with project partners, certification bodies, and government departments as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• M.Sc. or M.Tech in Agricultural Economics (freshers or up to 1 year of experience).
• Strong understanding of agricultural systems, sustainability, and rural development.
• Interest in climate-smart agriculture, carbon credit mechanisms, and organic certification.
• Good communication and report-writing skills (English, Marathi/Hindi preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel to rural project sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per year
