Project Assistant

Job Description

The Project Assistant plays a key role in the delivery of client projects in their domain within the overall realm of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance in the US. They are responsible for delivering high quality work products as well as ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation in internal databases within agreed timelines and time budgets. The incumbent communicates with clients and collaborates with colleagues in India and the US to provide exceptional client service. Key responsibilities Work on and deliver the parts of client projects assigned to them, ensuring client-ready high-quality output, in a timely manner and within the time budget; Promptly address roadblocks, if any, that can potentially impact quality, timeliness or project effort; escalate where senior intervention is needed for issue resolution; Communicate clearly with clients with respect to project delivery end-to-end from seeking required information to delivery of reports; address client requests/questions promptly and with clarity; Ensure that client and project documentation is maintained up to date in internal repositories; stay tuned to client developments; Keep knowledgebase on relevant EHS regulations current; provide insights/training to colleagues, when required; seek guidance of more experienced colleagues as needed; Contribute innovative ideas to improve service quality, efficiency and productivity. Educational qualifications and work experience Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Environmental Science from a reputed institution; a Master’s degree will be preferred; 2-3 years of experience in delivery of projects in consulting; knowledge/experience in US EHS regulations will be preferred; Proven track-record in delivering multiple projects to clients as part of a team.
