We are seeking experienced and dynamic professionals to lead and manage our rural development programs in the Chatra District of Jharkhand.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given project such as budget, timelines and teams. They will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues. 

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of rural development initiatives in the district
• Coordinate effectively with government departments, local governance institutions, community stakeholders, and partner organizations
• Ensure high-quality implementation of programs with a focus on long-term community impact
• Supervise field teams, build their capacity, and ensure timely reporting and documentation
• Conduct regular field visits to assess progress, identify challenges, and provide on-ground support
• Maintain program compliance with donor and organizational standards
• Develop timelines, budget, teams and plan for given project
• Ensure high quality work is produced
• Anticipate and solve any problems related to the program
• Conduct performance reviews and evaluate program
• Facilitate communication between relevant teams

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, or related Social Sciences
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in managing rural development or community-based projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in local language(s) and familiarity with the socio-cultural context of Jharkhand
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in or originally from Jharkhand
