Job Description

As a Director of Engineering for Internal Platforms, you will be responsible for leading engineering teams in the development and delivery of software solutions. Your focus will involve implementing Agile and DevOps practices to ensure a robust cloud infrastructure and driving program management initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to align engineering goals with business objectives and foster a culture of innovation. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the application of engineering principles and practices across projects, leading learning platform development projects to ensure timely delivery and quality standards, integrating DevOps concepts into project workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement Agile methodologies. You will provide strategic direction for hybrid work models, manage day-to-day project operations, facilitate communication between stakeholders, monitor project progress, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Maintaining project documentation, identifying and mitigating risks associated with learning platform development, driving innovation in educational technologies, and collaborating with technical teams for seamless integration of new features will also be part of your role. Evaluating project outcomes, providing feedback for future improvements, and supporting team members in their professional development are critical aspects of the position. The ideal candidate for this role will possess extensive experience in learning platform development with a deep understanding of educational technologies. Strong background in DevOps concepts, proficiency in Agile methodologies, excellent communication and leadership skills, commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, and experience in managing hybrid work models are essential qualifications. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate project risks effectively will be crucial for success in this role.,
