Professor of Computer Science

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Computer Science Faculty member to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, teaching ability, and research orientation to contribute to the growth of students and the institution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Mentorship

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in core Computer Science subjects such as Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related domains.
• Mentor, guide, and evaluate students in academic projects, internships, and research work.
• Develop innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.

1. Curriculum Development

• Assist in designing, reviewing, and updating the Computer Science curriculum as per industry standards and academic requirements.
• Incorporate emerging technologies (AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, etc.) into teaching.

1. Research & Publications

• Undertake independent and collaborative research projects.
• Publish papers in reputed journals, conferences, and contribute to knowledge creation.
• Apply for funded research projects and guide students in research work.

1. Academic Administration

• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and accreditation activities.
• Contribute to student development initiatives, seminars, workshops, and conferences.

1. Industry & Community Engagement

• Collaborate with industry experts for guest lectures, internships, and placements.
• Build partnerships with organizations for research and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/related field (mandatory).
• Ph.D. (preferred/mandatory depending on level).

• Experience:

• Prior teaching/research experience at university/college level preferred.
• Industry experience in software development, AI/ML, Data Science, or related domains is an added advantage.

• Skills:

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.).
• Knowledge of modern tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
