Production Supervisor

Job Title: Production Manager

Department: Production / Operations

Reports To: Factory Head / Managing Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Manager to oversee daily factory operations. The candidate should be capable of managing supervisors, labor teams, order updates, and production schedules, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow in the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day production activities in the factory.

Supervise and coordinate the work of production supervisors and labor teams.

Ensure timely order updates and monitor job progress to meet delivery deadlines.

Maintain quality standards, production efficiency, and safety procedures.

Handle labor management, attendance, and discipline on the shop floor.

Communicate with management regarding production status, issues, and resource requirements.

Maintain records of raw material usage, production output, and order tracking.

Work closely with other departments like Purchase, Design, and Dispatch to ensure smooth workflow.

Identify areas for process improvement and cost control.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a factory / production management role (fabrication, manufacturing, or similar industry preferred).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to handle labor and supervisors effectively.

Good understanding of production planning, order tracking, and workflow management.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office / Excel).

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Education:

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (preferred).
