Production Supervisor

Production Head Manufacturing/Production Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Diploma Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in managing the manufacturing shop floor or production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to ensure smooth production operations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor production machinery and equipment. Planning, coordination, and execution of production processes for all the machines on the shopfloor on a weekly plan basis. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery, equipment, and production processes. Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure the final product meets quality standards. Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime. Report accurate records of production data, equipment status, and maintenance activities to upper management. Assist in the training of junior staff or operators on production techniques and safety protocols. Ability to interact with and update customers on order status, understand new requirements and technically discuss with the customer on any doubts or concerns. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field with strong communication, team work and leadership skills to manage operations. 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing/production, in a mechanical or industrial setting. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and machinery. Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints. Good knowledge of CNC machines, Conventional machines, Drlling machines & processes is a requirement. Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control procedures. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Proficient in MS Office and basic knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
