Production Supervisor

Job Purpose

To supervise daily production activities, ensure smooth workflow, achieve production targets, maintain quality & safety standards, and manage manpower efficiently on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor production operations to meet daily/weekly/monthly targets.
• Supervise and guide shop floor workers, operators, and technicians.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
• Coordinate with QA, Stores, Maintenance, and other departments for uninterrupted production.
• Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns to maintenance.
• Maintain production documents, reports, shift logs, and data entries.
• Ensure product quality by following SOPs and inspection standards.
• Enforce workplace safety, PPE usage, 5S, and housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Train and mentor team members to improve productivity and reduce errors.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, etc.).
• Ensure discipline and resolve team conflicts effectively.
• Report daily production status to HOD.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Volunteer

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
