Key Responsibilities

Client & Order Coordination

• Understand client requirements and collaborate with sales, design, and sampling teams for design finalization and costing.
• Evaluate production feasibility, negotiate cost targets, and ensure order profitability.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely, quality-driven order fulfilment.

Operational Leadership

• Manage shifts, manpower allocation, and production schedules to meet delivery and quality targets.
• Oversee production, maintenance, mending, and store teams for synchronized operations.
• Drive

  capacity planning, lean manufacturing, waste reduction

  , and

  process optimization

  .
• Introduce

  technology-driven process improvements

  and

  automation initiatives

  where applicable.

Compliance, Safety & Sustainability

• Ensure full adherence to

  industrial, environmental, labor, and safety regulations

  .
• Maintain

  audit readiness

  through robust documentation, statutory registers, and proactive internal audits.
• Lead health, safety, and sustainability initiatives to support

  ESG and client compliance standards

  .

Quality Assurance & Audit Management

• Maintain stringent

  quality control systems

  , monitor defect rates, and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare for and manage

  internal/external audits

  (ISO, BIS, Oeko-Tex, client audits).
• Ensure

  traceability, documentation accuracy, and compliance reporting

  for audit readiness.

Resource & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with Stores for

  material planning, inventory control

  , and

  timely procurement

  .
• Work with Maintenance teams to ensure

  machine uptime, preventive maintenance, and spare planning

  .
• Optimize vendor and supplier relationships for quality, cost, and reliability.

Strategic Growth & Team Development

• Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend

  capacity expansion or process re-engineering

  .
• Build a

  performance-driven team culture

  , enabling cross-training and succession planning.
• Participate in

  strategic meetings

  with senior leadership, contributing insights on productivity, profitability, and future scalability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in

  Textile Technology, Production, Industrial Engineering

  , or equivalent field.
• Minimum

  8+ years of experience

  in textile/embroidery/manufacturing with progressive leadership roles.
• Exposure to

  compliance, audit management, lean manufacturing, and process improvement

  preferred.

• MBA or Executive Program in Operations/General Management

  will be an added advantage.
