Production Planning & Control Executive

Production Planning: o   Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production schedules. o   Estimate material, manpower, machine, and tool requirements. o   Plan job orders based on customer demand, machine capacity, and lead times. o   Create routing sheets and process plans for new components. Production Control: o   Monitor and control ongoing production activities. o   Track progress against the plan and adjust schedules as needed. o   Ensure timely dispatch of finished products. o   Handle bottlenecks and delays in production. Material Planning and Procurement Coordination: ·        Ensure availability of raw materials, bought-out components, and tools. ·        Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement. ·        Maintain minimum stock levels through inventory management systems. Capacity Planning: ·        Evaluate machine-wise capacity and compare with production load. ·        Balance workloads across different departments (CNC, VMC, fabrication, etc.). Shop Floor Coordination: ·        Issue production orders and drawings to the shop floor. ·        Follow up with production teams to ensure on-time delivery. ·        Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and tool rooms for smooth operations. Monitoring and Reporting: ·        Track actual production vs. planned production. ·        Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. ·        Analyze downtime, rework, and rejection data for improvement.
