Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Production Planning
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts and orders.
Plan manpower, machinery, and material requirements to meet production targets.
Production Control
Monitor the production process to ensure timely completion of jobs.
Track WIP (Work-in-Progress) and resolve bottlenecks or delays.
Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Material & Inventory Management
Coordinate with the purchase department to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
Optimize inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
Maintain records of raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
Coordination & Communication
Act as a bridge between production, quality, procurement, and sales teams.
Communicate plan changes and production updates to concerned departments.
Process Improvement
Identify areas of delay, waste, or inefficiency and suggest corrective actions.
Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on production status, capacity utilization, and efficiency.
Analyze production data to improve forecasting and scheduling accuracy.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure production operations comply with company policies, ISO standards, and customer requirements.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
