Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Production Pharmacist located in Gurugram. The Production Pharmacist will oversee and manage production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include implementing production plans, maintaining quality control and assurance standards, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies. Additionally, the Production Pharmacist will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and solve any operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize formulations for tablets, capsules, powders, liquids, soft gels, or other dosage forms.
• Select appropriate active ingredients, excipients, and delivery systems based on product requirements.
• Conduct lab-scale experiments and assist in scale-up and tech transfer to manufacturing.
• Perform stability studies, compatibility testing, and analytical evaluations of formulations.
• Document formulation trials, batch records, and protocols in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, Regulatory, and Production teams for product approval and commercialization.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new ingredients, and formulation technologies.
• Troubleshoot formulation issues and modify existing products as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in formulation development (nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry preferred).
• knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, FSSAI, ICH) will be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with formulation equipment and analytical instruments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in nutraceuticals, herbal formulations, or dietary supplements.
• Familiarity with stability protocols, dissolution testing, and bioavailability enhancement techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory submissions and dossier preparation is a plus.
