Production Merchandiser (Retail & Apparel)

Job Description

Oversee and manage the end-to-end production process from sampling to final delivery. Like, Receiving Order, Finalizing the Fabric, Dyeing, Embroidery (Machine / Hand), Stitching, Finishing, Quality Check, Packing, Delivery etc. Monitor raw material inventory and coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing. Collaborate closely with designers and merchandisers to understand design specifications and timelines. Allocate and supervise production tasks across in-house and outsourced teams. Ensure quality control at every stage of the production process. Plan production schedules to meet order deadlines efficiently. Resolve any production-related issues, including delays, quality concerns, or labor shortages. Maintain production reports, tracking progress and flagging issues proactively. Liaise with vendors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations. Requirements: Minimum 4-8 years of experience in production management within the fashion industry. Strong understanding of fabric, surface ornamentation techniques (embroidery, dyeing, etc.), and garment construction. Excellent leadership and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic production management tools.
