Production Merchandiser (Retail & Apparel)

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end production process from sampling to final delivery. Like, Receiving Order, Finalizing the Fabric, Dyeing, Embroidery (Machine / Hand), Stitching, Finishing, Quality Check, Packing, Delivery etc.
• Monitor raw material inventory and coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing.
• Collaborate closely with designers and merchandisers to understand design specifications and timelines.
• Allocate and supervise production tasks across in-house and outsourced teams.
• Ensure quality control at every stage of the production process.
• Plan production schedules to meet order deadlines efficiently.
• Resolve any production-related issues, including delays, quality concerns, or labor shortages.
• Maintain production reports, tracking progress and flagging issues proactively.
• Liaise with vendors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-8 years of experience in production management within the fashion industry.
• Strong understanding of fabric, surface ornamentation techniques (embroidery, dyeing, etc.), and garment construction.
• Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic production management tools.
• Educational background in Fashion Technology or Production Management is preferred.
