This is a leadership role requiring end-to-end ownership of R&D setup, formulation development, regulatory compliance, team building, and integration of education modules in the long term. Key Responsibilities: Establish and lead the entire R&D division for cosmetics and dermatology from ground up. Develop innovative, safe, and effective skin, hair, and nutraceutical products tailored for Indian consumers. Hire, train, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of formulation scientists, analysts, and technical staff. Design and implement formulation protocols, product stability studies, performance testing, and packaging compatibility. Ensure regulatory and legal compliance for Indian and international markets (CDSCO, FDA, EU, etc.). Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to support claims, prototypes, and clinical data. Plan and initiate academic partnerships and certification programs in formulation sciences. Develop SOPs and infrastructure to transition the R&D unit into a functional cosmetic science teaching institute. Requirements: Ph.D. / M.Pharm / M.Sc. in Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemistry. Minimum 10 years of experience in cosmetic or dermatology R&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven record in developing successful commercial formulations in skincare, haircare, or personal care. Deep knowledge of cosmetic regulations, formulation technologies, and raw material innovations. Ability to build and scale teams, manage R&D timelines, and ensure project delivery. Passion for education and scientific training is a strong advantage.
