A Production/Manufacturing Head is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process in a manufacturing environment. This includes planning, organizing, and controlling the production schedule, managing resources, ensuring quality control, and optimizing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. They also play a crucial role in managing production teams and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing manufacturing strategies and operational plans. Production Management: Overseeing the entire production process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. Team Leadership: Managing, motivating, and developing the production team. Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Reporting: Providing regular updates and reports on production activities and performance metrics.
