Production Manager

As a Production Manager at Shree Group of Industries, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing all aspects of furniture manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning, organizing, and directing production operations to meet daily and monthly targets. - Supervising the complete manufacturing process, including cutting, machining, assembly, finishing, and packaging. - Ensuring adherence to production schedules and coordinating with departments such as Design, Purchase, and Quality Control for smooth workflow. - Implementing and monitoring Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices for process improvement. - Managing manpower allocation, performance evaluation, and skill development of production staff. - Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organized production environment. - Controlling production costs by efficient resource utilization and waste reduction. - Maintaining preventive maintenance schedules and ensuring optimal performance of machinery and tools. - Preparing and presenting regular production and efficiency reports to senior management. - Ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards and timely resolution of any production issues. Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering. - Minimum 5 -15 years of relevant experience in the furniture manufacturing industry. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials (wood, metal, MDF, laminates, veneers, plywood, etc.), and modern production machinery (CNC, edge banding, beam saw, drilling, router, etc.). - Proven experience in production planning, manpower management, and process optimization. - Knowledge of ERP systems, production planning tools, and data reporting. - Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
