Production Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Floor Manager to oversee the end-to-end production of a single product line across the full shop floor. The Floor Manager will be directly responsible for supervising workers, coordinating production flow, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining strict compliance with SOPs, FSMS, CCPs, and OPRPs.

This role requires strong people management skills, process monitoring, and the ability to deliver consistent results with efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of production for one specific product across the shop floor.
• Supervise shop floor operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.
• Monitor and guide labor teams in their respective tasks.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain CCP & OPRP compliance during the production process.
• Conduct daily quality checks and coordinate with QA/QC teams.
• Maintain logs, annexures, and production records for assigned product batches.
• Implement hygiene, safety, and discipline practices across the floor.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies in real time.
• Report daily production output, manpower usage, and quality issues to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate/Diploma in Food Technology/Science/Engineering (preferred).
• 3–5 years’ experience in food manufacturing/processing with direct floor supervision.
• Strong understanding of FSMS, HACCP, SOP, CCP, and OPRP requirements.
• Ability to manage and motivate shop floor labor teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with good documentation practices.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
