Production Manager - Pharma/API Machinery

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to lead and oversee the entire production process for high-quality machinery used in the Pharma/API sector. The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of technical expertise, operational excellence, and leadership skills to ensure efficient manufacturing, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of equipment.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Control

• Plan, organize, and monitor production activities to meet output targets and delivery schedules.
• Allocate manpower, materials, and machinery for cost-efficient production.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, QC, and stores for smooth workflow.

2. Process Design & Implementation

• Work with engineering teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Design efficient production workflows considering equipment utilization and material flow.
• Implement new processes and ensure proper training for the team.

3. Continuous Improvement & Optimization

• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other methodologies for process enhancement.
• Drive initiatives for productivity improvement and waste reduction.

4. Quality Assurance

• Ensure adherence to quality standards at every stage of production.
• Collaborate with QC to define testing and inspection procedures.
• Maintain high-quality outputs with minimal rework or rejection.

5. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide hands-on technical guidance to production teams.
• Resolve process-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.

6. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and train production staff for improved performance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning.

7. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and statutory regulations.
• Implement preventive measures to eliminate potential hazards.

8. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate production records and process parameters.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in production management within the Pharma/API machinery manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of machines including Sparkler Filter, ANFD, RCVD, VTD, Blenders, and FBD.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and modern production practices.
• Strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and team management abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
