Manufacturing of exclusive home furnishing made-ups

Working with craft clusters in embroideries and handloom weaving across districts in West Bengal

Position:

Full-time, On-site

Exact Location: Gariahat, Kolkata

The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient production and resource utilization.

Responsibilities

• Manage production process and people
• Create and execute production plans based on targets
• Make SOPs for the various production processes, quality checking, etc
• Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders
• Purchasing & sourcing of trims, tools and materials as necessary
• Set work plans for in-house artisans and managerial staff
• Identify the correct jobwork vendors for various production processes
• Manage production efficiency
• Maintain proper documentation of work executions

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Textile Technology / Supply Chain Management
• 5+ years of production experience - with a home furnishings set-up
• Microsoft excel skills is a must
• Languages: English is a must; Hindi & Bengali is preferable

• Strong organizational and managerial skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Self-motivated and initiative-taking
• Team leader
• Should have experience of working at a managerial position
