PRODUCTION MANAGER - GARMENTS

You will be responsible for the following key activities: - Production Planning & Scheduling: Creating and managing production schedules, forecasting production needs, and ensuring timely completion of orders. - Cost Management: Managing budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring cost-effective production processes. - Quality Control: Implementing and maintaining quality control protocols, ensuring products meet specified standards, and addressing any quality issues. - Team Management: Supervising, motivating, and training sewing production staff, addressing performance issues, and fostering a positive work environment. - Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. - Equipment Management: Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of sewing equipment, ensuring it's in good working order and operating safely. - Communication & Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, including design, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow and meet customer needs. You should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Strong understanding of sewing production processes, including garment construction and manufacturing techniques. - Experience in production planning, scheduling, and cost management. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. Preferable candidates should be Tamil.
