Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, managing the production team, and meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of production planning and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning & Scheduling:

    • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while ensuring optimal use of resources.
    • Coordinate production schedules with material planning, inventory control, and procurement departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
  • Process Improvement & Efficiency:

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
    • Continuously monitor production processes and implement lean manufacturing techniques to optimize efficiency.
  • Quality Control:

    • Ensure that all production activities meet company and regulatory quality standards.
    • Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process.
  • Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
    • Ensure proper training and development of team members to maintain high levels of skill and motivation.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:

    • Enforce safety regulations and ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety standards applicable to the manufacturing facility.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
    • Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and achievements.
  • Resource Management:

    • Oversee the maintenance and operation of production machinery and equipment.
    • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Budget Management:

    • Manage production budgets and optimize resource allocation to achieve cost-effective production.
    • Control production costs by analyzing labor, material, and overhead expenditures.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as procurement, quality control, logistics, and engineering to ensure smooth operations.
    • Participate in strategic planning meetings to align production capabilities with business objectives.
