Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager at our Jharkhand, India location. The Production Manager will manage and oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production goals are consistently met while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production activities, optimizing resources, monitoring equipment functionality, and implementing process improvements. Additionally, this role involves supervising teams, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of production planning, process optimization, and manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience with managing equipment and ensuring operational efficiency
- Leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate production staff
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges effectively
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards, and compliance with environmental regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing management roles, preferably in a similar industry
- Proficiency in data analysis and use of production management software/tools
