DG KNITTING – Job Description

Position: Production Head
Experience Required: Minimum 7 –8 Years
Salary Range: 450,000 – 50,000 per month
Reporting To: Director
Location: Pipodara , Near Surat Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the entire fabric production process, covering both Circular Knitting and Warp Knitting operations.
• Create daily and weekly production schedules based on order priorities, machine availability, and workforce resources.
• Allocate manpower across shifts and machines to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Achieve production targets on time while maintaining quality and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor machine-wise outputs; coordinate with supervisors and data entry operators for accurate reporting.
• Identify production bottlenecks, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with store, design, and maintenance departments for yarn availability, machine readiness, and job clarity.
• Track and analyze rejections, wastage, and machine stoppages for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and SOPs across the production floor.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management.
• Support new machine trials, installations, and process enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Textile Engineering or Production Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in fabric production, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Hands-on experience in Circular and Warp Knitting operations is mandatory
• Technical Knowledge:
• Expertise in knitting machines (Circular & Warp)
• Strong understanding of fabric types, GSM, gauge, yarn specs, and job card interpretation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
