1. Production Planning & Execution Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on order requirements and delivery timelines. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials (kraft paper, adhesives, inks, etc.). Allocate workforce and machinery to meet production goals. 2. Monitor and maintain machine settings for optimal efficiency and quality output. Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize downtime. 5. Quality Control & Assurance Implement and monitor quality checkpoints for product dimensions, adhesion strength, print clarity, and finishing. Work with the QC team to address defects, minimize wastage, and resolve recurring issues. Maintain compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications. 6. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily production reports capturing output per shift, machine utilization, downtime, and wastage. Maintain accurate inward/outward movement registers and reconcile stock periodically. Share weekly performance summaries with management, highlighting achievements and improvement areas. 7. Team Leadership & Training Supervise production staff, machine operators, and helpers across all shifts. Conduct training for operators on safe machine handling, production processes, and troubleshooting. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and productivity. 8. Process Optimization & Cost Control Identify and implement improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and optimize energy usage. Track production KPIs (output per shift, machine downtime, wastage percentage, etc.) and present regular reports to management.
