We are looking for a fresher, experienced and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations. You will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the process. Required Candidate profile Supervise day-to-day production activities to meet daily/weekly/monthly targets Enforce company policies and procedures on the shop floor
1. Electrical & PLC Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting and repair of PLC-controlled systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.). Modify and update PLC programs as per operational needs. Manage electrical panels, wiring, sensors, drives (VFDs/servos), and HMI systems. Calibrate and maintain electrical instruments and safety interlocks. 2. SPM Machine Maintenance: Carry out electrical maintenance of SPMs (welding machines, pressing units, assembly stations, inspection units, etc.). Understand and maintain the machine logic, interlocks, and automation systems. Work closely with mechanical counterparts to ensure full machine uptime. 3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities. Maintain maintenance logs, records, and downtime analysis reports. Use condition monitoring tools and methods (like thermal scanning, insulation testing, etc.). 4. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations (statutory and internal). Support audits related to electrical safety and preventive maintenance (5S, TPM, ISO, etc.). Train junior technicians and ensure safe working practices in the maintenance team. 5. Spare & Inventory Management: Identify critical spares, raise indents, and ensure stock availability. Coordinate with purchase and vendors for AMC and service calls. 6. Continuous Improvement: Drive Kaizen, cost reduction initiatives, energy-saving projects, and productivity improvement actions. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring breakdowns. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Hands-on experience with PLCs (programming + troubleshooting), sensors, relays, drives, SCADA, and HMIs Knowledge of industrial automation and machine control systems Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and safety compliance Problem-solving attitude with strong analytical skills Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of all SPM, VMC, CNC, PLC, and electrical systems in the plant. Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, PLC, CNC, and pneumatic-related issues in machines and control panels. Diagnose and repair machine tool control circuits, servo drives, spindle drives, and I/O modules in CNC/VMC machines. Conduct routine inspections and performance monitoring of production equipment to prevent unplanned downtime. Read, interpret, and update electrical, PLC, and pneumatic circuit diagrams . Perform control panel wiring, relay logic maintenance, and instrumentation work . Support installation, commissioning, calibration, and retrofitting of new and existing machines. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, checklists, breakdown reports, and spare parts inventory . Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and plant protocols . Coordinate with OEMs and service vendors for specialized machine maintenance or upgrades. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems in industrial machinery. Hands-on experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, or Allen Bradley preferred). Sound understanding of CNC and VMC electrical circuits, control systems, servo drives, and encoders . Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems . Ability to read and interpret machine electrical, pneumatic, and control schematics . Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical ability. Good communication, planning, and teamwork skills.
