We are looking for a Production Manager to lead a team of young and energetic engineers. He shall be an Engineer with 10-12 years of experience in working in a managerial role at an Engineering/FMCG Industry. Should possess sound knowledge of manufacturing processes and management tools for quality production. Shall be responsible for the production target, utilization of assets, quality and cost. He shall be a link between production team and senior management. His role includes, Raw material Planning, Making schedules for production, delegation of work to subordinates, MIS reporting, guiding his juniors in skill development. We encourage innovation and shall be willing to take up challenges in increasing productivity. Their responsibilities include: Planning and scheduling : Create production schedules and assess resource requirements to meet delivery targets. Managing resources : Order and manage equipment, facilities, and materials, and ensure stock levels are adequate including outsourcing. Setting quality standards : Determine quality control standards and ensure the manufacturing process meets them. Monitoring and adjusting : Monitor production processes and productivity rates a nd initiate actions to improve. Liaising with others : Work with procurement, buyers, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure a smooth production process. Reporting : Produce production reports by collecting data. Communicating : Communicate regularly with senior management regarding expected problems or issues impacting production and possible solutions. A Production Manager is also responsible for following: 1) Creating schedule for Production. 2) Selecting Equipment, Maintaining and repairing it 3) Setting Quality Standards 4) Ensuring Production is cost effective and production process is economical 5) Overseeing team members while maximizing efficiency. 6) maintaining product quality as set by management 7) Determining ways to improve production efficiency Person staying in the vicinity of Khopoli and having experience of handling 40-50 people in a production shop is preferable.
1. Looking for Graduate Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in QA department of an engineering or FMCG company. 2. Shall be well versed with ISO 9001, ISO45001 and willing to take responsibility for setting up the QMS. 3.Person possessing knowledge about TQM with experience in implementing POKA-YOKE is preferred. 4. Should have experience of documentation of audit process.
