Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage daily production activities and ensure adherence to shift plans.
Handle manpower allocation, operator supervision, and shift discipline.
Monitor production KPIs including
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
, output, downtime, and rejection %.
Perform
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
and
Defect Analysis
for quality issues and drive corrective & preventive actions.
Implement and sustain
5S
,
Kaizen
, and
Lean Manufacturing
initiatives on the shopfloor.
Ensure strict compliance with
SOPs
, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams for smooth operations.
Support
JIT (Just-In-Time)
material flow and minimize WIP, delays, and bottlenecks.
Maintain production reports, update shift logs, and highlight any deviations.
Ensure optimal machine utilization and coordinate for preventive maintenance.

Preferred candidate profile

2-4 years of experience in
manufacturing / production / assembly operations
.
Strong knowledge of
7QC Tools, RCA, CAPA, OEE, Kaizen, 5S, JIT, Lean Concepts
.
Experience in manpower handling and shift management.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Proficient in MS Excel and basic production reporting.
