Role Summary : We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance of high-speed, automated solar PV module production equipment across all processes in the manufacturing value chain. This role entails full responsibility for Breakdown maintenance, Preventive and Predictive maintenance, Spare parts management, Equipment reliability, and Root Cause Analysis. The objective is to ensure uninterrupted operations, maximize equipment uptime, and support high-quality, efficient, and safe manufacturing in a highly automated production environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance Operations : • Ensure smooth functioning and minimum downtime of all production equipment across module manufacturing. • Develop all Routine, Preventive, and Predictive maintenance activities plan for Mechanical, Electrical, and electronic systems • Develop and implement fault diagnosis protocols for quick resolution of equipment issues. • Achieve high equipment uptime by implementing best-in-class maintenance strategies 2. Preventive Maintenance & Documentation : • Design and execute structured Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) based on OEM recommendations and historical data. • Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation. • Conduct periodic audits and health checks for critical systems. 3. Spares & Inventory Management: • Ensure availability of critical and fast-moving spare parts with minimum inventory cost. • Manage procurement, stock levels, reorder points, and supplier performance in collaboration with SCM. • Create and maintain spare parts master list linked to downtime analysis. 4. Team Management & Skill Development : • Develop Hiring / Retention / Development plan of the team to maintain operational continuity across multi-shift operations • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Maintenance Managers, Engineers and Technicians (In House as well Out-Sourced) • Conduct regular training programs for upskilling in automation, safety, and equipment diagnostics. • Build a technical skill matrix and ensure shift readiness. 5. Compliance & Safety: • Ensure all maintenance work complies with Safety standards, Statutory regulations, and ISO certifications (ISO 50001, ISO 45001). • Lead Safety drills, LOTO implementations, and risk assessments for maintenance operations. • Support energy efficiency and sustainability through equipment performance optimization. Key Skills & Requirements: Experience : About 10-12 years in Setting up & Maintenance of Solar module or high-speed electronics manufacturing setup.
