Trainee

As an individual contributing to Alstom's mission of leading societies towards a low carbon future, you will be responsible for handling and storing goods and raw materials in the factory or warehouse. Your role will involve setting up production equipment such as robots, machines, workstations, test benches, and inspection tools while ensuring their cleanliness and maintenance. In line with the manufacturing plan, you will perform tasks related to manufacturing, production, and testing, adhering to prescribed task times and quality levels as per operating instructions, methods processes, and MRP routing. It will be your responsibility to identify parts as required, monitor the production process, conduct basic testing and quality checks, and promptly alert the Team Leader in case of process drift or quality issues. Additionally, you will be expected to complete tally sheets on the MRP tool, pack goods in preparation for shipment, and uphold ESD rules for electronics devices production. Compliance with EHS rules is crucial in ensuring a safe working environment. Your performance will be measured based on various parameters including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD), Sales, Production Management Control (PMC), Orders, and Gross Margin. Manufacturing efficiency in terms of time spent versus methods time, achieving product quality targets, delivering production tasks punctually, and adhering to EHS regulations will be key performance indicators.
