Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer at our Barmer (Rajasthan) location, your role will involve planning and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient operations in the offshore/onshore production field. You should hold a B.E/B.Tech in Chemical/Petroleum with 10 years of experience or a Diploma in Chemical/Petroleum with 12 years of experience in the industry. Your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating production input for asset planning programs. - Reviewing and planning shift rosters to ensure adequate coverage and emergency duty management. - Managing production priorities by planning equipment outages to minimize downtime. - Supervising on-site teams and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company requirements. - Participating in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) processes and reviewing conclusions. - Supervising the commissioning and optimization of new and modified plants. - Monitoring discharges and flaring activities to ensure compliance with environmental standards. - Encouraging continuous improvement initiatives and conducting performance appraisals for individuals and teams. - Maintaining competency of production teams through training and feedback mechanisms. You will also be responsible for: - Conducting safety critical tasks and fulfilling emergency team roles as required. - Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and waste management plans. - Coaching and developing staff by providing proactive input to training programs and encouraging continuous development. Your ability to interact with all staff, provide regular feedback on trainee progress, and actively encourage skill development will be essential to succeed in this role. Effective communication with various stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and third parties, will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities.
