Job Title: Production Engineer – Industrial Plastic Products (Pipes, Sheets, Rods, Fittings)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and optimize daily production processes for plastic products, including injection molding, extrusion, and compounding.​
• Oversee machine setups, process parameters, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and defects.​
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures, analyze defects, and drive corrective actions to meet industry standards.​
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (quality, maintenance, R&D, supply chain) on new products, process improvements, and manufacturing efficiency.​
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), production reports, and documentation for audits and compliance.​
• Train and mentor shop-floor operators on equipment safety, process optimization, and best practices.​
• Manage production inventory, coordinate procurement of raw materials, and ensure traceability.​
• Conduct trials of new product formulations, optimize production parameters, and lead cost-saving initiatives.​
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.​

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.​
• 2–5 years’ experience in industrial plastic manufacturing and fabrication (injection molding, extrusion, compounding, or related processes).​
• Strong knowledge of plastics materials, production technologies, and quality management systems.​
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting machines and optimizing plastic processing workflows.​
• Proficient in understanding AutoCAD drawings and Microsoft Office for documentation and process analysis.​
• Certifications in quality control or ISO systems are desirable.​
